The Barbados International Business Association’s November Luncheon Seminar will focus on the emerging importance of Barbados for Latin American business and estate planning. The seminar will be held jointly with the Barbados Chapter of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

James Meyer, Partner, Harper Meyer
James Meyer is a partner of Harper Meyer, a full-service law firm based in Miami. His main area of expertise is working with U.S. and Latin American clientele, including multinational corporations, financial institutions and high net worth individuals.
The seminar will provide useful information about why Latin American tax planners are now incorporating Barbados into the international structures used by their clientele. The discussion will be very useful for BIBA and STEP members given the recent Barbados Mexico Tax Treaty and the Barbados Panama Tax Treaty which promises to provide the Barbados international business sector with very promising opportunities for the future.
